Most people fixate on a specific number on the scale, not realizing that their ideal physique is shaped by more than just weight.
The body composition that looks ‘toned,’ ‘lean,’ or ‘strong’ usually involves more muscle mass than they expect.
For example, the same person at 65kg with a higher percentage of muscle and less body fat will look a lot different than at 65kg with little muscle with a higher body fat percentage.
Muscle is dense and takes up less space than fat, so you might wear a smaller clothing size or have a more sculpted appearance at a heavier weight.
This is why focusing on the mirror, measurements, and performance in the gym often gives you a better indicator of progress than chasing a number on the scale.
Don’t let the scale limit your expectations. It’s entirely possible that the body you’re dreaming of is stronger, healthier, and yes, heavier than you think.
