First, you need to understand the difference between a ‘plateau’ and progress ‘slowing down’.

➡️Fat loss plateau - Progress COMPLETELY stalls, and you’re no longer dropping body fat despite sticking to your plan. This is when your body has fully adapted and adjustments are needed to break through.

➡️Progress slowing down - You’re still losing fat, but at a slower rate. Even if the you’re not dropping body fat as quickly as the very beginning, it’s still progress. Slow progress is still progress.

How to break a fat loss plateau:

🔺Adjusting calorie intake - As you body weight drops, your caloric needs change. Slightly lower your calorie intake to create a new deficit.

🔺Increase daily activity - If you’re already tracking steps, increase your daily steps target.

🔺Strength training - You should be doing this already. But if you’re not, better start now to minimize muscle loss.

🔺Cardio - Cardio can be a good tool, but it’s something would do last. It can help you boost calorie expenditure, but don’t go too overboard with this one.
