Four to five years ago, Po walked into our club at Mahidol, a novice with no clue about jabs. She showed up consistently, viewing boxing as just a hobby, never anticipating much. Then came an unexpected opportunity – her first amateur boxing fight, with all profits dedicated to helping stray dogs. Po, in it for fun and the cause, had no inkling it was the start of something grand.
As her trainer, my ultimate dream was audacious: to transform our team into the world's P4P fighters. The journey has been arduous, with challenges akin to scaling mountains. Yet, our love for the sport and the camaraderie during training sessions kept us going.
That pivotal moment arrived when Po made history as the first Asian ever on the BK P4P list. Disbelief lingered as I poured over the news for hours. The elation is immense, but we understand it's just the beginning; Everest looms ahead.
This achievement is a testament to our team's dedication, Po's resilience, and the shared joy of pursuing our passion. I stand proud as her trainer, proud of our team, and immensely proud of Po. This isn't the summit – it's the base camp for what lies ahead. The climb continues, and we're ready for the mountainous task ahead. #P4P #BKFCThailand #Denman
