A young woman running from her past finds a safe haven in the Jekyll household – until she stumbles upon a terrifying secret shared between her quiet, reserved employer and his enigmatic assistant.

Growing up in poverty has given Mary Reilly her fair share of violence, abuse and unhappiness. Fortunately for the young woman, it seems that her fortunes have taken a turn for the better when the respected physician, Dr Henry Jekyll, hires her as a live-in housemaid.
