The Thai media has dubbed the floods the ‘Mud Tsunami,’ as thousands of homes have been filled with water and thick mud that is extremely difficult to remove. Only a combination of machinery and manual labor can clear these homes. The Bangkok Community Help Foundation, alongside local volunteer groups and authorities, is working tirelessly to clean and restore the homes of those unable to do so themselves.
