The Thai media has dubbed the floods the ‘Mud Tsunami,’ as thousands of homes have been filled with water and thick mud that is extremely difficult to remove. Only a combination of machinery and manual labor can clear these homes. The Bangkok Community Help Foundation, alongside local volunteer groups and authorities, is working tirelessly to clean and restore the homes of those unable to do so themselves. Visiting the devastated and flooded villages of Wiang Pa Pao, we arrived with survival bags and hearts full of compassion. With so many areas impacted, help doesn’t always reach everyone. That’s why we make it our mission to seek out those still in need, delivering essential supplies and offering hope to those who, in some cases, have lost everything. The animals not forgotten, of course ❤️

The effort to clean up and rebuild Chiang Rai is officially underway. Hundreds of dedicated volunteers are on the ground, clearing mud and debris to help flood-affected families begin the long journey to recovery. The Bangkok Community Help Foundation is asking for your support in two critical ways:

- Water hoses
- Cleaning liquids
