During my morning mediation this quote came up, and it really helped me visualize a support strategy. You know when there's just a ton of negative emotions, for example anger, coming from a person/people and may or may not be directed at you? It's important to not absorb that emotion because it can really be heavy. Instead, we can find a place for it to land outside of ourselves. We can do that by visualising a protective layer, or by understanding that the emotion they are projecting is separate from who they are.
