  • Philippe Gerbier (Lino Ventura), a civil engineer and leader of the French resistance (1942) is betrayed by a traitor and arrested. Through cycles of captivity, escape, and intrigue, this World War II drama reveals the plight of the resistance fighters, their solitude, fears, relationships and sacrifices.
