Papa,

As I write this, an indescribable pain fills my heart, knowing that the best man I’ve ever known is leaving this world. You have been my forever one and only hero, teaching me invaluable lessons that have shaped who I am today.

From you, I learned bravery, strength, and fearlessness. You showed me how to fight relentlessly, even when victory seemed impossible. You taught me to prioritize others before myself. These lessons, and so many more, are the gifts you’ve given me.

I couldn’t have wished for a better father, and I aspire to one day live up to your name. I am forever grateful for everything you’ve done for our family. Knowing that i will not be able to call you every day leaves a void that can never be filled. I would trade anything for just to talk to you one more time…
