Just spent four days at the Regent in Phu Quoc, and I’m still in a daze. This Regent here isn’t just good; it’s in a league of its own.

From the moment you step in, you can feel the difference. It’s in the air, in the smiles, in every little detail you didn’t even know you wanted.

And the Vietnamese hospitality? Let’s just say I now understand why my Vietnamese friends insisted, “If you’re going to Phu Quoc, stay at the Regent or don’t bother coming.” Harsh? Maybe. But after experiencing it, I kind of get it.

You might think, “Isn’t it just like going to Phuket?” No! Imagine Phuket’s beauty, subtract the crowds and traffic, add a dose of tranquility, and you’re getting close to what this place offers.

I’m not saying it’s perfect. Perfect is boring. The Regent Phu Quoc is something else – it’s an experience that makes you question why you ever stayed anywhere else.

And they’ve got coconuts in the gym. Yes.. lemme repeat.. coconuts in the gym!!!!!!!!

And the best part is .. the best Vietnamese food on the island is here!

So, if you’re looking for a sign to book that trip to Phu Quoc, consider this it. Just don’t blame me if you never want to leave.
